I'm "obsessed" with human time perception and the subject of entropy.

Do you mean like time being a social construct sort of thing?

As for entropy that's my posting style

Not really. For example, I'm deeply fascinated with how addictive substances that are ultimately bad for us (re: stressors) seem to have a rapid impact on our perception of time and how depression and pain seem to make our perception of time come to a standstill. People that deal with depression, trauma, and pain tend to be much more prone to resort to the stressors mentioned above which advance their perception of time; while often contributing to the overall depressed state. Because of this, I wonder how much precedence we give our own perception of time in our decision making processes.

Unfortunately I have no idea how my decision making process works most of the time - it completely baffles me.

I don't know if you have ever been in a car accident but it's true that time slows down in big crash ( all senses go into slo mo ) , it's a very weird feeling and something I couldn't talk about for a long time.

I think it was because he was clumsy. I just think the makers of the cartoon wanted to be funny.

There are also two funny characters named Natasha and Boris. They had fake Russian accents. They were always trying to get "Moose and Squirrel" (Bullwinkle and Rocky).

It's a cartoon that kids like for different reasons, and adults like for different reasons.

excellent cartoon show. Bullwinkle.

Dudley Doright was patterned after Kirk Douglas.

Speaking of which----how has your day been?

Did you like "Top Cat?"

My day has been pretty terrible actually. I'm terrified of not being able to fall asleep tonight :( (don't ask).

On the other hand, I did enjoy "Top Cat" :D . I also watched a Courageous Cat and I saw "The Frog!"

I'm going to cast caution to the winds and ask why you are terrified of not being to fall asleep? I have a dicky thyroid so my metabolism is all over the place and a couple of times I've had such severe sleep deprivation I've gone nuts and attempted to kill myself. Back in 2013/2014, I became interested in neuroscience and followed a series of webinars called a Neurosummit introduced by Lisa Garr, of The Aware Show, and was impressed by Joe Dispenza and Mark Waldman, who pressed my go buttons in ways they had never been pressed before. Joe had published a book called "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself" and I was trying to publish a four volume set of memoirs about my life of Autism, Autistic Psychopathy, and Asperger's Syndrome, but prevaricating constantly, over saying, enough is enough, and uploading it to the internet as it was. I've always been like this. Unless I'm given a deadline to meet, I go on and on and on editing the manuscript endlessly. It was about how I overcame my obsessive compulsion to churn thoughts of suicide around in my head until they made me try to kill myself; and I knew that the longer I avoided uploading it, the more risk I was running of causing someone who needed to know that to do what I had taught myself not to do, if that makes sense. So I bought Joe's book, read it from front cover to back, bought the accompanying audio hypno-meditation-therapy cd, played it, and where he came to the part where he says, "And now, what habit do you have that you want to break?", I said, "I want to stop prevaricating and upload my memoirs to the internet for Amazon KDP Publishing to make my memoirs into ebooks and advertise them in Amazon Bookstore. And, lo and behold, I slept like a log, woke refreshed, had a great day, and put all four books onto my Amazon KDP Publishing Dashboard, and ordered their publication and marketing, during the evening, and into the wee small hours of the next day - and they captured slots #1, #2, #4 and #5, in the UK, in my marketing genre and niche, by the time I stopped for some breakfast. And a week later they were in the same slots globally. The following year, Joe published a similar book, "You Are The Placebo" and audio cd, "#2 Meditation: Changing One Belief And Perception", so I bought them and have been using them daily ever since. If you can't get them. go to You Tube, and use my audio-video recording "Autism Awareness Suicide Avoidance And Prevention" which you'll find at internet URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ-_JZbiKjY&t=4s and use it instead, as it has a similar question towards the very end. It'll bore you to sleep, but it's designed to do that.

When my filter works I'm O.K. but I can get carried away sometimes e.g. There's a poster here who I won't name who has mentioned they have, for want of a better word an alter-ego so I've made an avi to reflect the alter-ego but think it might cross a line so it shall remain on my PC

My 'most intense special interests/obsessions' are Architecture and Music. Will write, further, tomorrow, as I am currently, fading out. Great topic/post, by the way. Not sure why I hadn't happened upon it, until this moment. :flower:

I like stuff from the 50s through 70s.

Old, acoustic blues.

Classical.

Not New Age.

What do you play?

You might be in some special school if you play in "orchestra."
