Has anyone been to the Orange Show? I saw Bill Callahan of Smog perform there once, but the venue itself is an outdoor venue and it's kinda hard to explain what it is. It's like something you'd see in a Dr. Suess book or something heh Strange but cool. Here's the website:

I have not spent nearly enough time at the Orange Show. I live fairly near it now though.
I should look and see if they have any upcoming events.

Also, if anyone is interested, the Westheimer Block Party is coming up next saturday...Super Happy Fun Land always runs the Mango's stage...I a always perform and will be out in full costume...and possibly selling things...and there might be some sorta self-serve-communal art project happening...so that might be a fun thing to attend if anyone is interested.

Yeah, the block party sounds cool. I think I'll probably check it out. When will ya'll be performing, Olivia?

Yeah, it'd be cool if some of us could congregate at the Westhiemer block party. I love listening to live music from time to time.

Olivia, any news about when ya'll will get on stage? I only ask cuz I might be finding myself also going to the TexAsia festival on the same day and I'd rather not miss your show

Grrr...so far Flakey has been very vague...he sez sometime between 2 and 5, which is no help to me at all.. ...'cause I wanted to give my pals at the Montrose Bike Gang a specific time too...

Me and Adverb are going to the block party tomorrow. Who else is going?

any recommendations on parking over there? i don't know the area. and i think i saw somewhere it's between the 2 and 500 block of westheimer, yah?

so i guess unless people come here before tomorrow afternoon and we can plan something else, we'll try to find olivia at the mango's stage before 2 and see when she's playing and everyone can meet then? but between 2 and 5 is pretty vague - it would be fun if we could hook up at some more definite time before olivia plays.
