I don't know exactly why, but I know one reason I chose it was because I liked the sound. I struggle more with the posture than the playing lol, but I guess my fine motor skills are ok (defying aspie stereotypes
). I enjoy Vivadi and Mozart. I also like Beethoven, too!

I have noticed that too! I'm in a separate group from the big orchestra (as well as the bigger orchestra), but the small group meets before school. We also go on a lot of trips to perform in different places. I have at least made a few "acquaintances" from being in this group, so I feel like it's really helped my social skills develop at least somewhat. Like you, I HATE the unstructured type of social situation, but I loved being in orchestra and the smaller orchestra group. Thanks for sharing; I can relate

I have a ton of obsessions like anime, K-Pop, Lolita fashion, drawing, writing, reading, and animals. It's fun to have a lot of obsessions! LOL

Same here, it grosses me out and makes me feel like others aren't respecting others.
