May I come with my grandparents (they don't speak English), they want to pass some time with one of their grandchildren
They also want to know better what is AS...
They are very kind and wise, and I can translate what they are telling you. [ They have ] a dog.
So, any people disagreeing ?
Well, my first reaction is nooooooooooooo! But I am aware that I can take some time coming round to an idea,
especially when it involves radically changing my vision of what something is going to be like/plans etc.
I'm not too keen on the dog, nor on a non-english-speaking contingent who need translating to and from all the time, nor on non-WP/AS participants, nor on people wanting to be there to find out more about Aspergers.
Perhaps you or some of the others coming could help me get over these objections, which are perhaps not problems at all!
I suspect part of why I have objections is because we are going to be a smallish group, ( between 5 - 8 at last count ), and two non-english-speaking, non-AS, etc people in that context might be a bit overwhelming.
I think that if they just came along for a couple of hours at some point that would probably be ok ... ? Input on this from others would be very welcome ... please !
What do other people think; ManErg, Morgana, English-Lulu, KenG, Seashell, Lotusblossom, ( if you make it ), GeomAsp, raggle-taggle-gypsy ? I'm perfectly ready to see that I may be being unreasonably intolerant/rigid/whatever here, just need someone to show me in what way, or simply out-vote me.
