The sound(s) of excessive, really bad coughing.

My all-time WORST sensation is under the class of touch: when you've had baby oil in the bath and then you grab a towel or some other fabric...that feeling on your fingers and hands (makes me shudder as I type about it). I also hate the sensation of wooden ice-cream sticks in my mouth. When I see people chewing on them it makes me feel sick... paper lollipop sticks are not much better! As for the other senses...

Smell: Exhaust fumes; women who bathe in their perfume

Taste: Prozac; raw celery

Sight: The UV glare after days of rain when the atmosphere is 'cleaner'; a throng of people walking aimlessly that I have to walk through

Sound: Babies or children squealing or screaming; electronic items left on stand-by...a lot of them 'hum' at really high frequencies and it drives me mad.

*loud explosions.
*biting any type of fabric. (makes me cringe just thinking about it)
*the towel under my fingers when my hands are wet. (which makes complicated drying them at all)
*people with nervous leg sitting beside me. (i have a nervous leg, so i would probably no like me if I wasn't me.)
*when people stand behind me. (don't mind in lines, though.)
*repetitive noises. [like phones! god, i hate phones. I HAVE to pick them up, I can't just let them ring.]
*poking.

sounds: sniffling, polyphonic sounds, certain sounds [all of which my bf ticks. darn the irony], answering machine beeps [makes work difficult],

touch: powdered latex, mushrooms, conditioner, quilt batting, fishnets [which my bf loves because of his autism], people [lightly] touching me with out telling me first, clothes that are lose [I have to take 15 minutes before I do anything, or I twitch all day], having a tick [it always unnerving], EEG/CT Scan headgear, what they use to x-ray your mouth and the foam they put in your mouth for fluoride, cups or glasses that are not smooth, leather, chalk/chalkboards

feelings [not necessarily touch]: over 65*, leg hair [must shave everyday. sometimes twice], needing to sneeze [makes me want to throw up], having to "pop" a joint [like your knee, or knuckles], wide open spaces[fields]/ high ceilings {it like throws of my balance because of lack of air pressure, it feels like my heat is floating and I can breath through my ears},

sight: fiber optic lights, strobe lights, orange [the color, its painful to look at, it feels like my ears are going to esplode]

this is good for me to start cataloging, since I'm going in for assessments soon.

sounds
- other people biting into corn chips. only corn chips. potato chips and pretzels don't effect me. the tone makes my skin hurt.
- shrieking and screaming. invokes feeling of needing to flee. I have to cover my ears a lot when I go to my kid's school to pick her up.
- buzzing of fluorescent tube lights. makes me feel anxious.
- vibrations of bad speakers. makes me feel irritated.
- chalk on chalkboard.

visual
- bright lights, especially within the upper range of my sight. I get bad headaches.
- flickering lights.

smells
- perfumes... most make me feel nauseous. some don't. I think it's a particular chemical but I don't know for sure.

touch
- hair roots being bent the wrong way. painful, painful, makes my skin ache. I'm having all the hair on my legs lasered off so that it doesn't get bent upward by my pants because it is excruciating. if I put my hair in a ponytail too long and then let it down, my skin aches from the weight of the hair roots changing direction.
- touch in general, since I'm usually in pain all over my body. light touch makes me feel irritable. I don't like people touching my head without warning. I do love massage, though, but it has to be deep, not light. light massage annoys me.

environment
- loud, busy places. too much input. I plan shopping for times when there are less people. usually takes a couple of days to work myself up to going to a store. sometimes if I just need one thing I can handle going spontaneously, especially if I have someone with me.
- lines. I hate being in line. I can't stand having someone breathe on me from behind, and people stand too close. makes me want to run away.
- phones. I feel anxious when phones ring. I only answer mine when I really need to talk to the person who's calling.

Sound:

People talking in an enclosed space.

Smell:

Cabbage.

(Edit: Oh, right, and cigarette smoke. GAH.)

Touch:

Metal.

Strong grips.

Anything under my fingernails.

Certain pieces of cotton clothing. I had this as my uniform once.

Sight:

Your planet orbits a ball of fire. Yeah, think about that.

Edit:

Taste:

Anything that lingers. I like milk for this reason.

My most hated sensations are:

Fish smell (I've hated it for who-knows-how-long)
The scratching of finger-nails on surfaces such as a car (I can't stand those loud noises)
Having someone not respect my private space when I need it

And that is all that I can think about

It's been raining, maybe thundering and lightning: beautiful. Then the sun comes out, the temperature goes up about 20 degrees, the relative humidity about 50 percent. That's the worst thing in the world. IMNot-So-HumbleOpinion.

Fabrics rubbing against me (unless it's something really smooth like silk), fibres off clothing and sheets getting caught in my nails or between my fingers, anything fabric going in my mouth, especially wool or cotton wool. I can't stand wool gloves.

The taste of fish I sometimes get, completely randomly, when eating or drinking. Also, the smell of fish I sometimes get, even more randomly.

People talking at me. Especially several people, and especially when they aren't giving me time to reply. Or when they sound angry and I can't tell whether they are or whether they're just talking loudly.

Flip-flops; I hate things between my toes. And between my fingers, see hatred of wool gloves. My fake leather gloves are fine, but they are too big so it doesn't feel like they're rubbing.

Being in a dark place with lights such as television that I'm focusing on, and then going out into daylight. This makes me faint.

People close behind me. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

Being bitten!
I know that sounds obvious, but I'm more than a bit of a masochist.. It's just the being bitten that I don't like!

Actually, room temperature water is much better for you than cold water.

I absolutely hate being cold and feel it more intensely than others. Everyone will be complaining of the heat while I have the heating on full and wear a jumper.

I hate HATE HATE the sound of fabric being rubbed together. Even if someone dusts down their jeans or rubs their hand over fabric in a store I'll go crazy inside. It starts off as a tingling in my palms, turns into a full body judder with my shoulder blades contorting and then my head kind of spasms and shakes. This all happens in probably under one second. Even If I can't actually hear it, I'll think about what the sensation would feel like for me and it has the same affect. It's a touch thing for me too, my palms are sensitive and can't touch anything rough or I get the same feeling.

I hate bright light so always have soft lamplight at home. Ceiling lights give me a headache and my eyes can't adjust to the brightness. I hate bright sunshine as well.
