Who's the kid with the blanket? I always thought something was up with him.
And it not like they do small talk...well, I have not read/watched Peanuts in a long time.

In the CBBC series Tracy Beaker Returns there's a a boy called Gus who is an aspie according to the show's website, it's not clear whether he's supposed to be diagnosed or not.

You do realize that most younger kids have a favorite toy or blanket, right? Do they all have ASD?

And some of these diagnoses are ridiculous.

Osaka from Azumanga Daioh: She's always in her head, and finds it hard to concentrate on the outside world. She will say things without thinking, and not notice if people think she's being weird. She was upset when the classes were changed around, and when someone said "if only we could turn back the clock", meaning they wished they had more time, she actually stood on a chair and tried to get the clock from the wall so she could turn it back.

Everyone, from everywhere. It's just that most of the time, they share special interests, so they can socialise with each other easily.

Actually, I was watching DS9 the other day, and I don't know if anyone's mentioned Dr Julian Bashir? Not DXing him, but he shares a few traits. Probably Social Anxiety Disorder, though.

What about Ephram or Andy from Everwood? Both are extremely talented in particular fields (medicine for one and music the other), There attempts at social and romantic relationships were always very challenging to them. and it would be a great example of such a condition being hereditary, though not diagnosed in them. I did however see an episode that spotlighted an autistic patient.

Noah Lennox's character as Gil in 'Fish Sticks'

He is socially isolated, has an obsession with fish and he has a reading quota he must meet, he 'researches' fish via physical exercise (holding his breath in a bathtub).

I didn't leaf through 19 pages to see if this was already mentioned.
Elaine from Seinfeld dated a fairly obvious Aspie, the awkward guy who met her at a party, couldn't remember her name later but he recalled that at the party there was a tic-tac-toe game on the kitchen door and the X's had won from upper left to lower right. The date ends badly as he describes every detail of why he was late - having to go to Brooklyn to find his mom's medications, which subway route it was, etc.

Huey from "The Boondocks": Nerdy, very intelligent, not much sense of humor for "normal" or "NT" type jokes, only has one friend, blatantly rude to people he considers stupid (not that some of them probably don't deserve it). Talks mainly about one or two topics..

Huey Newton is too neurotypical for me to consider him an aspie. He's also willing to support the existing social rules (when he disses and doesn't support R. Kelly's defense, instead of using this as a chance to oppose sh***y ahe-of-consent laws. Or that's my biases). Also he has good social skills/relations with the rappers/gangsters and can 'connect' with other people socially. Also see his talking with ghosts of rappers and all sorts of other stuff. Maybe he is aspie but i don't see it =/
