when i was a kid: just-growing hair (stubble) could set off on a crying jag. stale wash cloth smell could do that too.

these days: anything high pitched (especially over the cell phone.) the AAA voice mail. that sound they put on after "for quality purposes, this call may be monitored." (or words to that effect.

warning: do not call AAA just out of curiosity. (or if you do, make sure the phone is very far away from your ear.) this includes neurotypicals. that sound is pure evil.

I'm really bad about anyone touching me on the back of the neck. Wool makes me really uncomfortable and sweating is totally unpleasent for me so I'm not good in summer.

Cold, especially on my neck.
The phone ringing.
Anything wet

The sounds people make when eating is nearly enough to incite a homicidal rage in me. It's why I hate going to the cinema, because I can hear the slight crunch of popcorn even if I'm sitting on the other side of the building! And the muffled sound of voices on television coming through the floor or wall. It's mainly "subtle" noises that get to me, I'm generally comfortable with loudness.

Heres one I forgot about....the sound of crowds at sport games (particulary football crowds). Dont know why it is but it puts me in a really bad mood.

Oh God, me too. I have literally cried with rage over eating sounds. If possible, I leave the room now.

I really hate being sweaty and hot, makes me so uncomfortable I could punch something.
Old trains's breaks, so creaky I have to cover my ears.
Licking wooden icecream sticks.
Nails on jeans, scratching on jeans, shudder.

I hate screeches, they make me feel like I am getting torn inside-out

I also hate the sound of someone blowing there nose, make me shiver

I hate the sound of a car idling, or when the road hasn't been surfaced properly

Worst of all is a paper cut, it makes no sound, but every time I think of paper cuts, I think of paper cuts all over my body

Ugh, so many things..

I also can't stand to sweat, it's very unpleasant for me too (and damn if I don't live in Florida..)
Biting my fork
Material against my teeth (gives me the shivers just thinking about it)
Hair tangled up in my toes/fingers or worse, in my mouth (oh GAG)
My clothes if I have to dress RIGHT after my shower and they stick to me
ANYTHING stuck to the bottoms of my feet when I walk
The sound of chewing
The sound of someone passing gas (unless it's me of course)
The sound of a fork on a plate
LETTUCE. oh GOD I gag even trying to eat a salad
Popping balloons
SQUEAKING balloons (because I'm edgy thinking they're about to POP)
The sound of my fiancee scratching his head (I CAN HEAR IT FROM ACROSS THE HOUSE)
Anything sticky on my hands or face
I can't STAND it if I am washing my hands or dishes and I reach up and water drips down my arm up into my sleeve/armpit

My list could go on and on...

lights(especially tinier ones that flare in the corners of my eye) are the worst, I dont mind the sun but indoor lamps *shudders*
screaming by anyone, puts me into extreme anxiety
being touched when Im not 100% expecting it(especially neck and above)
Idk if this is a sensation but its really annoying when my skin gets ashy, sometimes Ill wake up and my arms will be covered in it o_0
