in Deer Park -- looking to hitch a ride. I WOULD just stand on the corner and hold out my thumb, but people would probably flip this hobo a quarter rather than picking me up. I wonder how long it would take me to collect enough quarters for cab-fare. hmmmm...

Anyhow, inquiring of persons in the immediate area running their own personal mini-busline on Sunday. I can pay in pennies, not many mind you. Wait, the gnomes took them. Well, my smile is worth a million. and THAT'S just a preview! (just ignore the eye-twitch)

Noon this Sunday.

Hmm...I went by Waldo's tonight. The big table in the back room can hold maybe 6-8 people. The front porch can probably hold 6-8 as well. Potentially, there may be 5-10 of us (depending on who's actually coming). I'll come early and try to claim a big table. Or maybe the porch, depending on the weather. If there's actually 10 or more of us...I'm not sure what to do. Part of me wants to change the location of our get-together and perhaps have it at the Discovery Green where they have outdoor tables we can perhaps move around to create one long one. Any opinions?

It is a big crazy park directly in front of the George R Brown Convention Center Downtown.

We'll stick with noon at Waldo's. It wouldn't be fair for everyone for me to change plans last minute. We'll make the most of it. Maybe we'll try Discovery Green next time.

If anyone's worried about parking, there's some at the front and also behind the coffeehouse.
