Autscape finally got a list up of who is presenting on which day: http://www.autscape.org/programme/timetable

I see ouinon's presentation is on Wednesday, and I remember lotusblossom and RarePegs will also be there on Wednesday.
I will be there for the whole Autscape, and some other wrong planeteers will be there too.
I think it will be very nice on Wednesday morning, when a whole group of wrong planeteers will be watching ouinon performing her "Not All In the Mind", live in Autscape 2009!

Update - I'm looking into getting my return flight changed from Thursday evening to Friday evening, which would enable me to attend the whole of Autscape

A few days ago, Manchester University published an article about Karen, the aspie who founded the organising committee for Autscape:
http://www.manchester.ac.uk/aboutus/new ... y/?id=4876
I think it is a very nice article. I especially liked that she mentioned her autistic friends as being a crucial factor in her graduation.
It was also nice to read that she won second place in the University’s Student Volunteer of the Year awards for her role in Autscape's organising committee.

This year, Karen is not chairing Autscape's organising committee. I guess she was too busy with her studies this year.
Instead, this year Autscape's organising committee is chaired by Larry Arnold.
I hope Karen can chair the committee again next year. (although Larry is also doing an excellent job).

I might go

I'll have to travel from Birmingham as I'm attending a Transformers convention there.

Remember to bring your passport with you.
(unlike elsewhere within the EU, travelling from France to the UK requires a passport).

Definitely not; I can't.

What with how much it costs for a trip from Chicago to London....and living expenses for a hotel fro 3 days, etc

No, but I could make a ladder and climb down.

I'm usually pretty good at remembering that sort of thing, but thanks for thinking of it anyway! :)

Hi Ouinon. I booked another return flight and I'll be able to stay for the whole of Autscape now.
