Now THAT makes sense! Thank you, Saguaro! I'm usually inclined to think that the powers that be are behind this kind of things, but I had no idea how. I think that explains it perfectly!

(oh, and I'm in a US colony, so the mentality is pretty much the same).

How do you know these things? Are you NT?

NTs know that bureaucratic stuff is bull, too. Even most of the ones that work for the government know it. But the thing about bureaucracy is that it takes forever to change.. so they try to play the game as best they can, and complain to their friends/family/therapists.. same as you're doing. :-P

That sounds like the truest thing :D

Yeah, they also don't want to change it. They're used to it; been so from day 1. Hit up, yet again, the 48 Laws of Power; it's on there.

This may seem weird but I HAVE TO understand stuff. It drives me nuts if I don't know how it's done or how it works- everything from lasers to a car engine to nuclear weapons to legislation to plants to stars..... and the list goes on. I love wikapedia. I don't feel comfortable unless I understand it.

Where I have a problem is the unpredicatability of people. Many times there is not a logical explanation to the behavior. I spend a lot of time thinking about peoples actions and trying to figure out why they did what they did. I realize it it probably a waste of time but I think I am obsessed with it and can't seem to pull my mind from it.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in the 70s. I think I might be an aspie or at least I have many trates. When I discovered aspergers/autism it answered a lot of questions about myself. Prior to finding aspergers/autism I just figured I was weird and different and I best just learn to deal with it.

Hope this wasn't too much :o

Siguaro, I also need to learn how things work in people, but that's because I don't have the intuition to fend for myself in this social world, so I need to analyze everything to be able to protect myself...
