I did that once while walking and walked right into a plate glass room divider. Left a nose print on it and everything. Yes, people who witnessed it were shaking their heads in wonder.

I bumped into a couch, but that's about it.

I've walked into low-hanging signs. Hurts likes crazy.

I do that too, but I think that's actually pretty normal. A lot of people do that.

Not if their mind is focused elsewhere.

I would have to go into one of my more eleborate um fantasies to explain what happens. Its only the snap back into reality that I realize, I had been day dreaming.

I was nicknamed vera vague as a kid cause I was always in my own little world spacing out and wouldnt hear others calling me even when they were shouting.
I was nicknamed lightening cause my processing speed was slow, and I didn't get sarcasm - ironically i finally realised my Dad called me lightening in a sarcastic way when I was in my 30's up till then I thought it was cause i was a fast runner.
So yeah I am somewhere else and have trouble keeping up with the outside world.

That space out moment sounded awesome. Don't feel bad. Take the good with the bad.
