Doesn't it have to do with how well your muscles can "hold" a charge? Wouldn't something like a pull up, where you are sustaining an exerted flex on your muscle, be more difficult? I have always found that pull ups were simply overwhelmingly difficult. I mean, I'm no doubt a weakling, too, so maybe I should just leave it at that. :)

In school I was tall and thin and couldn't do any pull-ups until I got to be about 18. I filled out in my early 20s and could do quite a few pull-ups then. Now I've gained too much weight and am back to only being able to do one with a lot of struggle.

marshall, I'd not feel bad about doing physical activity as, had been seen in the past for I too, had been skinny when I was growing up and often was taunted & teased for not having a great amount of muscle tone.Still, I'm able to do some physical activity these days but, having acquired mass from some unknown dimension, has in fact made it more difficult so, in many ways, I'm able to relate unto you..
