(Apologies for the off-topic)

Right click on the photo and select "open with microsoft office picture manager". Then select"edit picture" and select "change picture size" and "resize". Select "small for email" in the "predefined width and length" option. You can also select which part of the photo you want to be included in the avatar, by going to "edit using these tools" and selecting "crop", then cropping to your heart's content.

How useful would it be to write with a fat marker on an index card, You are not treating me properly! Stop it!, laid upside down on your work surface and pulled up when you have a panic attack?

Is it now more or less the size of an avatar? if so, then tell me what error you get, if any.

one other thing...how do I change my status? You got Goddess of Wisdom; and that totally fits you...but I think I can do something a little better on mine than "Phoenix"

Same place where you uploaded the avatar, but further up, you'll see a prompt to change your status (if you have enough posts to be allowed to).

I meant your new avatar. To post images in threads you have to upload them to Flickr first and link from there.
