I've learnt to calm my talking down now, as I used to talk a lot. I say a couple of things now to friends. Sometimes its catch 22. If I dont say much people will say "you're too quiet" or if I talk they say "You talk too much."

I had a speech problem and didn't have a first word. I just copied what was off the tele. So my mum said if I wanted a drink I would blurt out an advert. Then I was taking to speech therapy, and managed from there. My mum said the doctors thought I was deaf. It's not that, it's because I ignore people who I don't want to talk to.

I can talk with both boys and girls NTs.

I don't talk in school unless if someone talks to me. If there is somebody wanting to be my friend I make a friendship with them by talking to them in homeroom. I be polite.

I would have picked a 'both' vote if there had been one, but as it was i picked 'too much' I don't talk to people unless they speak to me ( unless i know them reasonably well or have something specific to say) and i can be very quite, especailly in social situations. However, get me talking about something i'm interested in or feel strongly about and i'm off. I get very enthusiastic and gesturey. This can be bad because i never know when too stop talking or when the person i'm with has ahd enough. I will speak for minutes at a time without a pause and will not even look at the person i'm speaking too.
I have annoyed people with that quite often.
