Ya, I have noticed that many Aspies like to mimic cats. I love it. I purr at them sounding like a cat who is very much comfortable in their environment.

i suppose what i do is compulsive,.. for when i am asked to stop, i stop,.. but then i do it again.... not long after,..

Vocally i sing most usually songs from a favourite band of mine,.. which is the only band of its genre' that i enjoy..

Or Comedy songs..
,... i "beat box" well its more just me making a rhythm with my tongue and lips...

But i also tap a lot,.. i have a certain beat that i often tap out,...
its just as though its a a perfect beat,...

i also make the elephant noise that Eddie Murphy makes in the movie daddy daycare.

LOL...I meow all the time. I mimic back the sounds my cats make and "converse" with them. I also sometimes meow as a stim.

The other verbal stim I do is sing the same part of a song over and over again, which drives my husband CRAZY.

I did this a lot when I was younger, up until about 6 or so years ago. Sometimes I'll still make random growling noises for no real reason. I try not to do it while out in public, but I feel comfortable doing it around my friends. My friends have commented that I pretty much have a whole vocabulary of random sounds.

I do weird noises everyday. they all have a meaning and some are even linked to my current mood. But they are mostly because I like to imagine.

I meow and howl on the subway train every day.

Some people laugh. Some are irritated.

I say 'meow' sometimes. No idea why; it just comes out. O.o

When I was in kindergarten and elementary school, I'd alway make this snorting sound like a pig. I love the way it feels in the back of my throat. My teachers often threw me out of the class since it distracted the other kids. This was one of the things that led to me being diagnosed. Sometimes, I make this squeaking noise by placing my top teeth on the inside of my bottom lip and inhaling through the little gap between the teeth.

When I hear a certain word or phrase, it sometimes triggers me to quote lines from films or TV programmes that I have seen on far too many occasions. It usually is completely nonsensical and has no relevance to what's going on at the time. "Ace Ventura" was a film I always used to quote for some reason. But as an adult I seldom seem to do it anymore.

in my old age I grunt and wheeze a lot just trying to get up off it and move. aside from that, I like alliteration. to help me overcome gravity and inertia I will say "YAAMANAMAA!" to give me more energy to get up. if I barely avoid a boo-boo I will say "YOOBEEDOOBEEY!" I like making suction noises emulating the sound of a plunger being pulled out of a syringe- "ffffFFFFFFFPPP!" also i'll sometimes make a combo whistling and humming sound that I find relaxing. :alien:

Groaning or grunting while rocking. Maybe it's rhythmical but I'm not sure. Fortunately it's only when I'm very stressed or exhausted and alone at home. The thing that worries me is I didn't do that when I was younger. The good thing though is I'm less stressed in the external world, out of sensory issues.

Mine aren't weird

They are realistic bird whistles.

During programs I added a new bit on yoga.
