she misses jokes and looks to the audience for cues. she talks about not wanting to go to a party after an award ceremony because she's already overwhelmed enough. when asked "how do you emotionally prepare for a scene" she answers with logic.
so speculation is speculation, of course, but i think this one is a pretty good bet?
i know i'm digging this thread up from the grave, but i have seen her mentioned in several "what actors might be aspie?" type threads, and i watched a bunch of interviews to see for myself what all the fuss was all about. and as the only actor i have ever heard of with a diagnosis is Dan Aykroyd, the speculation has got to be spot on some of the time.
