My Civic will be back on the road Wednesday!! !! ! It blew a rod last Monday and I ordered a replacement from eBay. it's a JDM( japanese domestic market) model B16B with a limited slip differential transmission. The new engine has 190 horsepower as opposed to the 160 hp the B16A1 had. Hopefully with the fact that they also swapped over my cold air intake and header... hopefully about 200hp... should be fun!! !! !

Man, that sounds like it'll be a blast to drive. Mind if I take it for a spin?

Sorry, but no... I won't even let my dad drive it...

I love my car,
we go near,
we go far.
it has 5 wheels
4 to drive,
one to steer
I love how it feels
when my car and I jive

I drive, I love driving.

Favorite job to date was driving a cab in Louisville.
Lots of money, fun to do, and lots of captive victims to babble at.

I hate anyone else driving but me, and wish 95% of the people on the roads were not allowed to drive. I can't ride in the passenger seat with someone driving if they aren't wonderful drivers. My mom taught me, she is a great driver.

I sit and press my foot against the floorboards with other people, trying to hit the brakes...

All in all though, I will miss the internal combustion engine when we finally wean ourselves off of oil.

Funnily, I don't have a license because I'm an anarchist, I don't respect any government in existence today, they're monstrosities, and in a better world we'd all be marching on the capitals with pitchforks and torches and machineguns.

Here is the dyno sheet from today... Note the Horsepower numbers in green at the bottom of the page... 172.7 or rounded up to 173... That is at the wheels. That means that at the crank, it is making 200hp. Impressive for a stock engine from an 11 year old car...

I drive a small truck between 5 and 11 hours every day, and I'm really good at it. I also run red lights and speed a lot, but only when it's perfectly safe to do so. I look in all directions first.

...I dont'. Everytime I go to the liquor store and they ask for my ID, I cleverly say, "it might take me a minute to find the card that says I can't drive yet."

Ha. Ha. :clown:

I was afeared when I was a teenager, and then I went to college in bumblebutt nowhere with no driving lessons about. I'm taking lessons starting in May or June.

I don't drive, at least not for now. I took Driver's Ed last year, then quit after a while (my parents got a full refund). I now understand that quitting so soon was pretty impulsive of me, but I'm not sure if I can handle driving. Being behind the wheel of a car causes me a little anxiety, especially with all those other cars on the road. I'm not sure if I ever will drive, but right now I live in a city that has no public transportation, so if I'm going to live a non-driving lifestyle, I'm going to have to move.

I drive but I need to know which road to take and which exit before I go somewhere I have have never been. Then I take plenty of time and are quite nervous. I don't drive very fast, just within the limit or below. I don't people blowing their horn, I always think that I did something wrong. I hate people driving close behind me, what often happens here. It makes me very nervous. It helps when I hit the break, but they don't always appriciate that. Wchich is their own fault, they shouldn't have come so close. If they have to make an emergency stop I will be the one who'll be hit from behind, with as a result me having a whiplass or worse. I do like driving when there is no one driving behind me pushing me on though.

I'm taking driver's lessons now, and quite frankly I'm really struggling having extreme fear of speed, changing gears, basically anything that moves. 8O
