Some of your posts imply contempt towards people with classic autism as opposed to people with Asperger's syndrome.

Incorrect. theories should be repeatably testable.

I'm sorry, then I must have misunderstood something.
Just to get it straight with myself:
Theories is something where you have two possibilities, and you have to be able to test it so you can rule out the wrong.

Or have I gotten it all wrong now? :?

No I believe you are right. Theories should be able to be tested. This seems more like an opinion not a theprey. I am still not quite sure what it isentirly.

I think learning slower would just be simple developmental delay, which you sometimes find in autistic people and sometimes not, and sometimes find they learn some things faster and some things slower. Actually I think that third one is the majority. I don't know any autistics who learn everything faster than the average, even the gifted ones.

There's an idea about processing delay (including sensory, cognitive, motor skills, etc.) being fundamental to autism, which is intriguing; also, the "inefficient filter" idea which theorizes that autism is caused by not being able to use your sensory memory very well, so you get too much information. Neither one has enough evidence for or against to say yet.

If you look closely, you can see many similarities between children and people with autism;

- Talking too low or too loud.

- Throwing tantrums.

- Idiosyncratic speech.

- Gazing eyes.

- Hand-flapping.

- Little theory of mind.

- Poor motor skills.

- Poor social skills.

I have a theory that the reason why people say autism is because they learn things slower, or never, + that the brain tells the autists to do things like rock back and forth.

WHAAA? Some of your theory in my opinion don't really make any sense to me... I can understand the gazing eyes however, to me it sounds more like your describing classic autism.

But not everybody with autism will have all of these symptoms.

1) I don't really throw tantrums as such, used to when I was younger.

2) I kinda talk too low unless when I feel comfortable, i'm completely talking but really fast.

3) Little theory of mind. I disagree with it because, there is a severely autistic girl called Carly Fisherman and she can't speak AT all and people would see her as someone who has retardation... But when she got to a computer, she could type and say what she needed.
And the amounts of messages on her blog certainly seems to be big theory of mind.

I'd highly recommend you research on it and get peoples views and experiences, you would learn more from it and you'll be surprised. :)

It's not, autism is different than AS.

Yes.

Good, then you understand that AS falls under the category of Autism, right?

You wanna know what I think? I think you're a troll, plain and simple.

Don't feed him, guys (and fellow gals). Not worth wasting the bits and bytes on.

You're a persistent troll. Also, why did you edit your posts?

I'm not, I have around 8 friends IRL, and they respect me, they don't think I'm depressive or anything, just that I'm a good friend.
