Social rules make no sense to me.

Same here, they're stupid pointless nonsense.

It's a bit like they control. Society dictates like how you must dress, what's appropriate, how you must speak to people, how you must greet them, what you must say to them, what you can do, what you can't do, etc. :?

Sorry for the small quote pyramid, but it makes things easier.
I can logically comprehend why social rules exist, but only on an evolutionarily relevant level and I can never hold any value to them.
I can see how they might have been useful, some long time ago, but I see that technology progresses much faster than people can handle, and many, MANY things that might have been useful are now utterly worthless.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that NTs get embarrassed a lot easier than us - at least, that's my conclusion anyway. They have those bloody rules hardwired into their head and too closed minded to look past them, so they get very embarrassed at even the tiniest little incident of breaking the social rules.

Not only I find people confusing, I find aspies confusing too because they act so irrational at times. Even my husband acts silly sometimes. Like last night he gives me my water bottle and I hand him my plate with my fork on it and candy wrapper and he complained about it because he was sore from work and I told him he was going back to the kitchen anyway so it doesn't matter. He said I added more weight for him to carry and I told him a plate and fork and wrapper isn't much weight. It's hardly any. He expected me to care about his feet but he was walking on them so that tells me he can do favors since he is up. If he goes back to the kitchen, I will give him something to take back. I don't see what his deal is. Sometimes I think he thinks I am that gullible or something so he tries and BS me and I don't buy it. Then he complains.
