Inappropriate Attachment to Objects

That Minutemaid can is very very important to you. You have memory of a friend putting that there. There is no problem with you having the attachment to that can and never will be. Don't let others tell you it is wrong. I had a very important stuffed animal and a friend's mother berated me about it, so much so that I threw it out because of fear and guilt in my 30s. It still hurts just thinking about that.

it's only "inappropriate" in other people's eyes. they don't count IMHO.
