In the middle of everything. I laugh at all the politicians staying far away in the history with Party program. World is changing, they should also change their system of thinking to keep up with the world.

I don't like politicians who stay mentally far away in the history. I know that The Past is very important and we all should remember, respect and learn it... but to hell, don't LIVE in it!

It's hard to talk about P-spectrum with Americans, because it's not the same thing as in Europe. USA has really other view.

Maybe some people suppose me in Extreme Right/Left Wing, because of (link) TotalitArt, but - how the name says - it's Art. Not politics. Maybe if I could rebuild and modernise these options. But when they still live 100 years ago, I keep away from them. I have met some Extreme Wingers, but I always told them you're too stupid for me and I won't join you, please come when you understand. Some of them were really nice - without some topics, I avoided.

So I choose Liberal option - for economy. But it's pro forma, I don't limit myself into names. I take some things from every options.

I think that if I wasn't autistic, I'd work in politic scene or PR*. You like quizzes, so I say: I'm 8w7 with the glass wall ;) and you should understand what I mean. Politics is really interesting thing, but I know myself and my communication/speaking problems - so I'm real and stay interested, but away.
Political science was one of my favourite subjects in school :D

*I'd not like to be a Party-leader. I'd prefer to be hidden and be a brain of it all. Somebody else could be a star, I prefer to keep control.

"I've been a rebel for all my life
I never cared about regulations
I only went for the things I liked
And my guitar was my inspiration
Yeah we pay a price
Yeah I made the sacrifice

I pledge allegiance to the state of Rock'n Roll!"

There are some quizzes, you can take them:

http://www.politicalcompass.org/

http://www.gotoquiz.com/politics/politi ... -quiz.html

But some questions are stereotypical. I know this first quiz and it's made from Leftie view. It should be neutral to be honest.

Ok, so they said: You are a centrist social authoritarian.

Used to be green-black.
Which is I think Rage Against the Machine and Rage Against the Man.
However, I never agreed upon the becoming the man thing.
But now I have a more Mensa like idea.
That the smartest and most capable make decisions for the masses.

'tis a bit of an awkward poll, considering you can be a Libertarian but still be other things.

I'm pro-civil liberties (Second Amendment, pro-choice, gay marriage, repeal Don't-Ask-Don't Tell, pro-marijuana legalization) but I'm also pro-regulation for corporations, especially concerning the environment. While I support leftist commie-pinko schemes like the public option, I also prefer that taxes be applied to negative things (e.g. petrol tax) over taxes which discourage incentive and hard work like income tax. I prefer providing equal opportunity (education for all) rather than redistributing the wealth. No hand-outs, except for those who can not work. (The severely disabled)

I'm also anti-partisanship, but the Democrats tend to field those I agree with more often.

Gee...that sums up my POV pretty well. Couldn't have said it better :) Socially I'm extremely liberal, fiscally less so, and most political tests put me in the Libertarian category.

I'm a social democrat. I live in Norway - a country with a well-developed, strong welfare system, and I vote for the Norwegian Labour Party because I believe in continuing to develop the welfare state. The great thing is, even the right-wing parties support the upholding of the welfare state and that this system should be tax funded. We pay a lot of tax, fair enough, but the income level is also very high - and we get a lot back from our tax money. In Norway health care is free for all (health insurance is completely superfluous), as is education from primary school up to and including university and colleges. The Norwegian Labour and Employment Administration has recently started a programme that gives people with AS special training to make it easier for them to succeed on the employment market. A great way to use tax money! I count myself extremely lucky to be a citizen of Norway. :)

I never got the whole "Rage Against the Machine" style anarcho-communism. The idea is that all these powerful violent people are in power and want to control you, so fight against the power and get the power for yourselves.

The unspoken corollary is that you continue to violently gain power until you can force people to obey your ideals and conform to your demands. Thus, those who fight hard enough against "the man", themselves become "the man".

It has no end, no goal, no purpose other than existing for the very sake of being pissed-off.

Sure, we're fighting a war that we probably can't win in this lifetime, but the only alternative is to lie back and take it up the butt from the elite, and that's even worse. If it weren't for resistance, they'd have us well and truly under their thumb.
