I myself consider myself I happy person.

In my eyes that depends (for the most part) who who you mix with and how you feel about yourself.

One is naked without the other.

Happily not only those I mix with are fine people to be with but I have a very high self esteem and I'm very conferdent.

Not only that I've had a happy childhood (inspite of my AS) and a beutiful girlfriend who cannot get enougth of me!

Sure I've had times when I've felt 'low' but they've passed as I think myself a storng person.

Goodbye Till Next Time.

I'm between happy and unhappy. Everyday is just a typical day for me. Depending on the situation, I can go from being to 100% happy to less then 20%. Then I'm back to being 100% later.

I believe that having aspergers is no different from beeing NT, we just operate a little different.
I'm born naturally happy and I don't have anything against my Aspergers.
The thing that makes me a sour puss and tired/angry/sad is the way I have to convert and alter myself to keep up or understand the norm.
I'm a witty fun guy but the fast phase is killing me at times making me a miserable and grumpy person.

Do I hate all the wonderful things my mind comes up with, f**k no.
Do I hate the different issues and disorders that comes with it, I can't really say that i do since they shaped me into who I am today by overcoming most of them.

Does it tire me out to constantly be alert and gather knowledge/information even in the most pressing situations.... jeah, SoulCake has become a sleepy boy.

Am I a naturally angry person because of all the factors? No, I try my damn hardest to not be even if I'm running on empty.

It is and always will be what you make it in to. We are clay, now get to shaping.

Well, that depends upon what you define as happiness for it differs from person to person.I,myself tend to be moderately despite some un-nice scenarios yet, I try not to let that hold me back and all.Basically you could say that, all people have his/her own way of illustrating their ideal of happiness...

I'm not a happy person at all, I pretty much have to force myself to be happy alot of the times.

This is an awkward thing to make any generalization out of.

A common impression is that people with Asperger's are weird, eccenctric, odd, yet innocently happy with who and what they are/do in life. When you look past the oddities, you'll notice they're honest, good-minded peaceful people who just want to have fun and typically have the smarts to have fun in a smarter manner than most NT's do.

But like people who don't have Asperger's, some people just don't have the best of luck with other people; peers, parents, etc... and this leads to more issues. Issues like this can lead to depression or other mental illnesses, and at least in my observation, most of them come here because unlike in the previous paragraph, something went wrong in their life, so they can't be the "eccentric yet happy with it and joyful anyways", and thus come to here for help with their conditions (it's like a support group). Some are just lucky to blend in society well, and some aren't.

Those who aren't, wouldn't be the happy ones, and are the ones you're more likely to find here than elsewhere, in my opinion.

It just kind of goes down to how well it's worked for them, I think. For me it hasn't gone the best so I'm not always the happiest person.

I've never been tested or diagnosed, but for myself, the answer is definitely no. I also know of a lot of others on the spectrum online & none of them seem very happy with their lives, either.

That's a horrible thing to say. I can't stand people being so pessimistic. And don't give me that 'realist' bull. Real life doesn't have to be so glum.
I'm both happy and unhappy temporarily. Most of the time I'm just content. I think because I focus on those things that make me happy I'm probably more happy throughout the day and some things can happen to put me in a bad mood.
And my life isn't perfect, not at all. I have many issues from autism/ADHD that hinder me from getting the best out of life. But I don't dwell on negative thoughts for long, and as such I'm a much more pleasant person to be around. What's the use in complaining? If your life sucks then work towards making it better. Life is much better when you don't focus on those things that make you miserable.

I'm pretty happy, but it does seem more likely for people with Asperger's to be unhappy. It's a very challenging condition to be saddled with.

I think my natural state is quite happy, but this is often impeded by outside forces.
