Well, she'll see what she can do. She can't get me a diagnosis, but she can direct me to one.

That's what one of my teachers had said, too. My parents were quite dead sure from the start, though. Trying to set up an appointment with a psychologist/psychiatrist would be interesting, even if they don't have the power to diagnose you, they can at least assess better whether you have it or not. Check if you have a psychologist at your school. The school psychologist usually can diagnose only younger kids, but it's worth to have a couple of sessions with them anyway before you go to a professional qualified in adult diagnoses.

Likely ADHD instead of what I've been diagnosed with before.

We have a psychologist. Can the school get me a reduced price diagnosis? Since I'm underaged and stuff.

Not sure about that. You'll have to find out.

Just remeber your hippa privacy laws. they didn't have those laws when Ii originally got diagnosed , my situation from my private doctor got shared with the school doctor and then became a part of my permanent public record. I got screwed out of a military career which would have been just the structure I needed. My point is be careful who you share your information with and treat it as need to know information. If they don't need to know, don't tell them.

Yes they are and then they wonder why we want to keep to ourselves and don't have but a select few freinds if any at all. Look at the crap they pull!

I know. :( It makes me sad. Especially because a lot of them could be great friends with us. Some of my best friends didn't like me at first. But by some crazy means we ended up having to hang out. And it was a great thing.
(I'm not even sure what an ed-teacher is ;))
Not sure if this was covered, but it's a Special-Education teacher. Not an education-teacher-that-is-special-to-me. :)

Good luck with your diagnosis, Spazzergasm!

In my opinion, you can talk to your teacher if you are on that level with her.
