There is a woman at my work (very not AS) that says "at this point in time" CONSTANTLY. I've even heard her start and end a sentence with this phrase. She leads a weekly conference call. A coworker and I make bets on how many time she will say ATPIT on the call. Having fun with it is the only way to not go completely bonkers hearing it over and over and over again.
Don't you wonder about that? I mean, the line isn't all that sharp between NTs and AS sometimes. They have security phrases, to be sure. I remember reading in a novel about a man who was nicknamed "Percy" by the journalists working under him and the new guy came to realize it was because he said "per se" all the time. And a minor player in an Agatha Christie mystery had taken to the word "subtle" and used it for everything. I just mention that to illustrate that there are a lot of them, to the point that they slip into fiction as well.
