I take Klonopin (generic clonazepam) for anxiety & Lamictal (generic lamotrigine) & lithium carbonate to stabilize my moods. I also recently started taking Omega 3 fish oil tablets for it's health benefits, though that's not a prescription like the other three.

I haven't been on any meds for anything in a long time, and never for autism. I've been on methylphenidate- err, ritalin, as most know it, for ADHD. I've been on clonidine for Tourette's. I've been on amitriptyline for trouble sleeping, and I think it was supposed to help the Tourette's also, or possibly the ADD or something. I dunno. I know my mom and my pediatrician specifically picked things with side effects that were beneficial to other issues when possible. Pretty cool and professional like that. xP

Most recently, I was on antidepressants. After the break-up with my ex I got near-suicidally depressed, and had suicidal ideations. ^^; Go me! I dunno; I just felt closer to her than I'd ever felt to anyone before. It happens every once in a while, and I usually learn why I was being foolish when it's done, and don't get depressed the next time, until something new and different and amazing catches me off-guard again. I don't think much of anything will catch me off-guard anymore.

No though, the antidepressants helped me out a lot, even though it was a very low dose. I've always stuck to the lowest doses that are effective, usually starting with the lowest doses even known to have any effect on someone of my body weight (~150 lbs, usually wavering as I forget to eat, and then eat of a lot of junk food periodically), then working up from there if it doesn't work.
