I love these things. Sometimes they screw up and the someone has to "clear" them....but I still go to them anyways. It's kinda fun to scan you're own stuff.

If my problems with other people continue to go downhill, I can just have my things delivered or grow my own food.

About every other month I find cash that someone left in the machine when it made change for them. :lol: When your laid off every free dollar is a fortune and a treasure.

I have used the machines and made suggestions because of flaws in the programme. I am glad I can help improve the machine's functioning, some of which has been implemented, at least where I shop.

I use them if I have only a few things, but if I'm buying produce or fruit that has a numerical code, I go to the regular checkout lanes where there's a person.
