In an Aspie world I think that a lot of morden movies (i.e. the ones where the bad guys win) would be banned, as we tend to only like happy endings.
I like happy endings if they seem natural but too often they seem forced and phony and I hate them. Most of the movies I love have either sad endings or ambiguous endings: The Ruling Class, Harold and Maude, Thin Red Line, Ghost Dog, Dead Man. Only a few have happy endings: The Wizard of Oz, The Red Balloon.
I don't think preferring movies with happy endings is necessarily an asperger's trait.
