I like happy endings if they seem natural but too often they seem forced and phony and I hate them. Most of the movies I love have either sad endings or ambiguous endings: The Ruling Class, Harold and Maude, Thin Red Line, Ghost Dog, Dead Man. Only a few have happy endings: The Wizard of Oz, The Red Balloon.

I don't think preferring movies with happy endings is necessarily an asperger's trait.
