I think I have a rather high tolerance to large amounts of pain. When I was five years old I had a good sixth of my body burned by extremely hot liquids and didn't cry(so says my Aunt who was at the place as it happened). Afterwards I distinctly remember a soreness from moving as there was a large amount of superficial damage. My friend(NT) says when he was burned and had scabbing it hurt to move. More recently tho, I had fallen and rolled down a hill(thanks to my finely tuned motor skills ) and I apparently lost about five layers of skin and did not feel pain in my leg.

there a theory that I support that Aspergers Neanderthal Genes . Neanderthal running down a Deer he ignores the Wooden Thorn in his foot , he eats the deer then notices and fixes the injury. Neanderthal had Larger than Normal Brains (looks like they wear Smarter to ) And its been Discovered they were unlike other Primates Very Fast healers. But very Unsocial .. In High School I used to throw Bullies around like Rag Dolls and it confused me they always be back the Next day to Pick on me again Even More Determined. I Once had an Untreated Broken Arm For a week. Aspergers And Neanderthal Crossbreeds Genes seem to be in the same Populations.

I feel that I have a very low tolerance to pain. Kidney stones, gall stones, 2 children. All horrible stuff.

However, I had an EMG done on my arms once to test for nerve damage. The doctor performing the test said people scream out in pain from it, but I did not. He remarked that I had a high pain tolerance. It may have been that I was forewarned of the pain and knew if would last a short time. (They send electric shocks through your arm.)

This is very interesting. Thinking about it, I don't suppose I complain about physical pain much. I refused to take any pain killers until I was over 30 whilst NT's seem to take them like smarties. Healing is pretty fast as well.

Think I'm a fast healer. I have a strange pain tolerance , pull my hair - I'll wince in pain , punch me in the face and break my nose - not that bad  ( might be an adrenaline thing )

I'm a very slow healer, and I have been told by by two doctors that people with anxiety sometimes take much more time to heal.

I assume that I have a high pain threshold. I've broken my leg in the surf (compound radial fracture of tibia and fibula) and pulled myself underwater for 20 metres and then up the beach without crying out in pain. I've sliced my thumb down to the bone, wrapped it up in toilet paper and sellotape and then gone hiking. I've accidentally sliced an artery open on my forearm and calmly walked home to show my parents - when I removed pressure from the cut the jet of blood hit the ceiling :)

I've found that I bruise more easily as I've gotten older.

Does dealing with period pains count as a thing? If so then I'd rather deal with the pain then take asprin because that will only make me bleed heavier and that would suck ...

I definitely have a hyperactive immune system. I am allergic to antibiotics, shellfish, and a variety of skin allergens. I too seldom get sick, but when I do it's usually a secondary infection from nasal allergies.

As for pain, it's a funny thing, I am a wimp about little things like bruises or lip ulcers, but I have dislocated my arm and put it back into place myself without surprisingly little discomfort. I also broke one of my vertebrae last year, and only felt pain when I would lay on hard surface. It was so little that I was misdiagnosed until they finally decided to give me an x-ray just to make sure. "No... it's actually broken"

Those two conditions are clear to me, yes. As for autism though- the jury is still out on that. I never sought an official diagnosis.
