I think I was fourteen when I had all the facts together. But I knew kids didn't come from storks as young as five.

I guess I learned about it in sex ed (5th grade I think) and some stuff I learned from other kids, (like how pregnancy only happens when you do some mysterious act with the opposite sex) but it's not because my parents were unwilling to tell me, I guess they just didn't see the rush. I remember one time I asked my mom to explain a sex joke from a TV show and she told me about erections and arousal. She was a little embarrassed, but she explained it well enough.

Sometime in elementary school. I heard a dirty joke at school, went home and told it to my mom, and then asked her to explain it to me. Apparently my reaction was "gross. I'm never doing that." Then when I was a teenager I heard the o-word on television and asked my mom what it was. She explained that it was kind of like a "sexual sneeze." So then I was very confused because then I was imagining that part of the female body (I am female) actually sneezing and that didn't really make a whole lot of sense to me.

I hope the above was not too "adult." I tried to censor it a bit by not using actual terms. But anyway, my parents never had any problems answering any questions that I had, which was nice.

ZOOKEEPER, ZOOKEEPER, THOSE TWO MONKEYS ARE KILLING EACH OTHER.

Apologies if someone already made this joke. I found out about sex when I was four and my grandmother left me to watch PBS unsupervised. I apparently described the process in precise detail to my mother on the drive home, but I certainly didn't connect sex with affection or anything like that, it was just repeating stuff I heard on TV. I later forgot this information at some point and relearned it in sex education in the 6th grade.

What's sex? :P

I can't remember my parents telling me about it at all.
I can't even remember the exact age I was when I learned about it either.
But I do remember being too shy and awkward to indulge my curiosity well into my mid teens.
