Engineering geologist for roads dept.

I do a number of things so my job never gets boring, landslide risk assessments, quarry assessments, managing drilling programs, inspecting bridge foundations, mapping, writing scientific reports... etc

I work mostly alone and usually communicate via email, the job can be stressful at times but has its good points. I like the many long drives in the countryside listening to music and its often good to come back to a site a few years later and see a big project completed that you were part of.
