Well, my mother said I didn't cry as an infant unless hungry or wet and "didn't talk" as a toddler. When I reached kindergarten age I had no idea how to make friends (still don't-it just happens sometimes) and my eye contact issues were really bad until I was 35. I still avoid it by looking at mouths and checking in on the eyes for a nanosecond or two.

First symptoms? Not until I was four... I was such a bright and easy-going kid that my mother never thought I had anything wrong until my preschool teacher said I was putting stuff in my mouth and not making eye-contact... My mom took it with a grain of salt for a year until my kindergarten teacher said the same thing. Yeah... I then had a social worker look at me... I also was very uncoordinated when I look tap-dancing and ballet... I also often said "I just can't explain it! I know what it is!" If I tried, I just talked in circles and "ummed"

Not sure if they are autistic symptoms but I really hated washing from day one. Literally my first bath Im told I woke the neighborhood up. Also my speaking wasnt up to par around 1-2 years but it took off after that.

My dad said I used to sit and just stair at a single object, when I was a baby.

My mom asked me "why aren't you crying" on my first day of school. My response was "well, this was your idea." :afro:

My dad couldn't wrestle with my, like he did with my brother. I'd always end up getting too worked up and scream until left alone.

My mom said that if I complained about feeling bad, it meant something was seriously wrong. I had a high pain tolerance.
