I can't stop listening to the same song!

I used to be like this until I really started getting into music. Now I can't stand to listen to the same thing over and over.

I have over 11,000 plays on my last.fm (KinetiK01) and only 2 songs with more than 20 plays.

I know how you feel, I played a particular track 255 times in 24 hours, even i was in bed playing it, so do not worry.

I can get stuck listening to one song and/or CD over and over, yes. Last year, I looped Dennis Leary's "I'm An as*hole" for seven hours straight. Earlier this year I listened to Cee Lo Green's "F**k You" for three-and-a-half hours in a row, for a week. But usually it'll be entire albums I'll listen to over and over. Right now it's the album "War All The Time" by Thursday. Haven't listened to any other artist for almost a month now.

For some songs it happens because I think a pattern in the song makes me feel really good or relaxed some of my faves are dazzle by Siouxie and the Banshees , marta's song by deep forest, isobel by bjork. I am so glad I am not the only one. I have done this for years , dont know why though. hmmm
