I spend about 1 minute on my hair, the time it takes to run a brush through it. And I don't even do that every day. I couldn't care less about my hair. Never have. The only time it gets properly brushed/styled is when my mother insists on blow drying it. I have more important things to do than to waste time on dead cells.

My hair is either wash and wear or wash and dry. It also looks pretty good. Look at Mick Avory in my avatar and you'll see what I mean. :)

I wash mine roughly twice a week (its oily) and brush it out in the mornng. I use a bobby pin or a bandana to keep my hair out of my face. When I do get it styled (a once every 2 months event) I always have it styled by getting a short layer cut, cut so that my hair curls naturally at the bottom. I got tired of using a currling iron every few days, so I usually do a body perm every three to four months. I have thick, straight hair, so having to curl it with an iron takes way too much time. With my perm curling my hair is a once a week event, and that's all I do with my hair.

I'm stressed out to the max about my hair today

Wash and wear my whole life, don't even have to comb it. A good stylist is an absolute must or it becomes its own entity living its own life. I am on it with those appointments or it becomes a topic of discussion. Yesterday I thought I try a little combing it a bit into a style. Result: too awful to imagine. I still haven't recovered from it and can't wait to get in the shower to wash away the attempt. I'm all haughty that I can master anything; when I had braces I found a place to order all the rubber chains so I didn't have to go in for the tightenings, I ordered all the tools to clean my teeth and my hygenist told me I did a perfect job, after 2 root canals I feel I could do root canals if I could get those cool little files (and the list is endless, and not just teeth but if I can find the schematics I'll try to fix anything... ... fail alot). But my hair....a total mystery. I can't master it, cut it, highlight it, comb it, thank the powers that be that it is wash and wear. I have resigned it is for others to manage because it is very expensive to fix when it doesn't work out.

I used to do my hair with gel to make it look like my brothers hair when I was a kid. I haven't done something like that in ages though. I just wear it however it comes out. Recently it has been "natural eighties hair" because it's so thick that it sticks up even at three inches long. People think it's a hairdo but it's just my hair.

Other than most of the period I was with my ex, who insisted i grow my hair, I've had short hair pretty much since I was allowed control over it lol... Sometimes it gets a bit long when I dan't get around to having it cut for a while it but I prefer it cut above my hairline on the back (I HATE hair on my neck especially in aussie summer)...
I brush it every so often but I wear a cap 90% of the time so it doesn't matter if I don't.. Wash it about once per week..
So yeah, pretty much wash n wear. Even when it was long I just ran the brush through it every so often then put my hat on and ignored it lol

My hair is almost waist length, I usually wear it in a bun. I CO wash every 3-4 days, no other products, and just fingerbrush. I love my hair

I've got wash and wear hair most days, but sometimes I like to play with my hair a bit and crimp sections or tease it.

Wash and wear. It gets terrible tangles because it's fine and wavy. I have a hard time brushing it. I want long hair, but it's tough to maintain.

Oh and I rarely wash mine but people say they'd never have known.

You guys are going to think i'm totally dumb, but , remember in high school, all those perfect girls with their perfect shiny hair making perfect shiny waves ? Yeah. I thought they just had perfect hair. Or a perfect hairdresser that made cuts that looked this way when they washed their hair, then combed it, then headed to school.
I would never have imagined anyone spending actual TIME trying to make their hair look amazing each morning.

When I was in my early teens I was obsessed with my hair being as long as possible - luckily long hair wasn't the fashion then and I didn't have too much competition (competition made me ache with jealousy), but still it didn't get much longer than waist length and was scraggy at the ends. That obsession only ended at 16 when I had it cut to shoulderlength to tidy it up a bit, and it has stayed around that length ever since.

As a teenager I washed it rarely (far less than I should have done), then would blowdry to try to get it straight, but it always went really fluffy. After I stopped caring about my hair and going swimming regularly, I realised that in fact it looks a lot better if I just wash it, comb through whilst wet and leave to dry naturally. So in fact doing stuff to it is a waste of time as it actually looks worse. It is slightly curly and will dry in waves naturally. It never looks as good the next day and I usually just put it up, although have got into the habit of washing it most mornings because I like the way it feels when clean. I have always hated hairdressers, but considered them necessary once a year or so to get a straight trim, however in the last couple of years I have started cutting it myself and realised I can do it pretty well (probably wouldn't work with straight hair, but curly hair can take some variation in lengths) and sometimes better than some of the trims I paid for.

I have about an inch of hair on my head.

You don't get much more "wash-n-go" than that.

I wash and blowdry mine, though do little else. I *hate* hair and hate to fool with it. Whenever I go in for a cut, I always tell them to do whatever as long as I can "wash and wear" it with no styling involved. However, I *hate* going to the hair salons almost as much as a can't stand fooling with hair.. I can't stand them touching me and hate them trying to make small talk and chit chat.. so I end up putting this off much longer than I should.. so my "wash and wear" cuts turn into a long, tangled mess after a while as I almost never brush it. Not brushing works when shorter with a newer simple cut, but when it starts to get lengthy I end up with big knots! That's usually when I give in and suffer through an afternoon of getting my hair cut..
