Yes i definitely do this. I love to submerge my hands in pretty much anything. Very fine loose sand has got to be my favorite, but play-doh or clay is a close second. I even love to get my arms in as far as they can go whenever i get the chance (which doesn't really come up anymore sadly), that feeling is amazing.

thats a trademark trait of any ASD you are talking about. I myself like to submerge my hands in beads or dry rice or other small, grainy things.

I like anything filled to the brim and it makes me want to submerge my hands in:

A bag of bulk rice, I love just putting my hand in the dry rice

A bag of dry beans

Washers

Bolts

Anything that is filled and there is a lot of them. I want to submerge.

I like doing that with marbles. Mmm, it makes my hands tingle just thinking about it. :D
