It definitely can change, while some of my special interests have been lifelong, others have been added in along the way. Some people's special interests change often while other people stick to one or a few interests.

Cryptids were a more or less recent one that got added on, but I've been interested in animals/cartoons/film since I was very young. With the specific show/movie obsessions, while some of them have staying power, my focus shifts with what I am currently obsessing over and constantly drawing.

Yup. While my interests in video games (primarily Nintendo), maps and traveling to new places have been around for as long as I can remember, I have had other interests come and go over the years. I was really into dinosaurs when I was very young, but that was mostly gone by the time I got to middle school. I also had an interest in outer space when I was in late elementary/middle school, which is still sort of there in the back of my head but isn't nearly as strong as it used to be. My interest in music came around late middle school.

I started becoming interested in the Olympic Games in 1984 as well. I saw some old programs about the Olympic Games. I have been watching old videos of the Tokyo, 1964 Games.
