I hate Glee with a passion. They ruined, there's no two ways about it, ruined Journey's Don't Stop Believin', which was my favourite song many, many years before the Glee existed.

Screw Sue bashing special needs kids, it's the entire cast bashing the songs that is offensive.

If only all villians were so open and clearly visible, nearly wearing a villian label on her forehead. She's a caricature - bigger, bolder, more blatantly vile than most humans have the cajones to be in real life. Unfortunately, villians and wrongness are not so obviously blatant in real life.

AND, apparently she has a MASSIVE crush on Will and seriously digs his hairstyle... it's like a little boy tugging on a girls ponytails in kindergarten. Its how an emotional cripple shows they care.

I seriously love an uber damaged character. Their clear cut failings as a human being help define our morals and ethics as a culture. Sure, there are some morons who emulate this behavior. I've seen those types of idjits get their asses handed to them for their stupidity. When the wrongness is so blatant, I think people do get the message.

Every story needs an antagonist - the bigger the obstacle the protagonists have to conquer, the bigger their success as heroes...

Yeah, but the saddest thing is, she's such a worn out cliche!

I do like many of their covers... but there is one aspect to them ruining things... autotune. It got so bad as season 1 went on, there's a few songs there that are near physically painful to listen to due to overuse of autotune. And it's sad since a lot of those kids can really sing. Unfortunately some of the ones that can't are supposed to be important to the story and we must put up with autotune for their songs.

[quote: ooOoOoOAnaOoOoOoo] This show seems more and more useless,[/quote]

Glee seems to be overrated....

I only typed that because I thought Sue Sylvester had to be a catty, maladjusted student. The realization that she's a teacher makes the show seem a bit more impalpable. Didn't we see this plot before in the movie Carrie?
I mean, come on. Be different.

True... but only if you are old enough to have witnessed the cliche in action over and over again. The show is geared towards a tween/teen audience. It's all new and wickedly fresh from their perspective.

If they have never seen the move Carrie or any remakes, perhaps ;)

Carrie was particularly vicious... :) Kids never appreciate the classics!

Hm, now that's a thought, maybe if I did just switch to viewing King's works/adaptations as comedic rather than horror or serious I'd like them more.

Back in their day they were 'serious bizness' in horror... now, they are quite funny. (Even back then I thought they were funny but I'm not exactly 'normal' when it comes to horror movies.) Enjoy!

Oh, I back when I was younger I'd watch them and be like 'oooh, this looks promising, that's so creepy'. Then halfway through as things started to get revealed I'd go to 'seriously, flying pacman monsters? Jeez, how lame'. Sure, I'd watch through to the end because I always do but most of the horror movies based on his stuff would get soo lame I started looking for "based on a story by Stephen King" and avoiding those movies because of how disappointing it would be to have great start, wonderful buildup, and then total letdown in the reveal and ending.

I really enjoy Glee, it's the only show that has people of all kinds on it. I know that Artie who is played by Kevin McHale is not a disabled actor but he portrays someone with a disability pretty realistically. Glee is def a teen/adult show due to the more adult themes but as Chris Colfer (who plays Kurt, the student who is gay) when asked about the fact that this season has more "adult" themed episodes addressing drinking, relationships etc etc he said hat when he was in middle school all these things were going on and it's all taken in stride and isn't a big shock to most viewers.
Lol I look at sue as a owners manual of what NOT to do.
There are always going to be critics of a show and you can find bad in anything and we all know people like to complain!

I love the music of Glee, it makes me happy and its the only non-secular music I listen to.

I actually find the big bang theory to be kindof insulting/annoying that One of the characters seems very autistic and most of the show is centered on his "quirks" which are made fun of the whole show.

Considering Glee's popularity, their songs aren't that non-secular.
