If it's Australian shrimp: that'd probably taste good. Not humans...that's cannibalism! Ewww....yucky.

As an Australian, allow me to answer your question. We taste like s**t, because we eat vegemite.

For those who don't know what vegemite is, it's whatever the hell is in this:
Image
Even we don't exactly know what vegemite is, although there are plenty of rumours. All we see is a thick gluggy black tar.

It's as common here as peanut butter (perhaps moreso) and yet no one eats it anywhere in the
world. It's fun feeding it to foreigners because they screw up their faces then spit it out. It's a uniquely Australian taste.

Hope that answers your question.

We love it in New Zealand.

It's a yeast product.

Yeah other countries are weird not liking it.

Don't they have something similar-tasting in America called Marmite or Promite? They have the same taste but they're not yeast extract; I think they're beef products. They're runnier than Vegemite though.

Anyway, Vegemite is really healthy and it tastes great! I've been having it for brekky on my toast for years.

Marmite is revolting, far too sweet and not tangy enough. I don't think they have that in America..

Do we need to release some confetti because of this?

More random discussion.

I see. In my humble opinion, I think we should release some cyber-confetti here to keep the positive things going.

Australians taste good because of the vegemite they eat (as mentioned), but also because of the jaffles and pavlova they eat for brekky every day.

I remember when Australia took over some pavlova to NZ as a part of a peace agreement in 1967 and now they claim it as their own. Shame, NZ, shame.

We Australians are going to combine our jaffle and pavlova making skills to create Jafflova's! And they will be 10x better than any NZ pavlova!

Pavlova fight!

Notice we pinched some kiwi fruit to decorate it with.
