I wear the same clothes over and over and go shopping for the same pants over and over. I am wearing clothes years old, and a overshirt that is atleast 5 years old by now.

I dress how my ex's have dressed me, pretty much. Although if a ex had some inclination of a baseball cap and baggy shorts I'd have to tell her no... so I do have my own opinions, but they are based off of the women that have been in my life thus far.

Me too! The only time I dress up is when I go to certain social gatherings, to be polite, and even then, I make sure I wear the most comfortable, fancy clothes possible. I have a few sensory issues with clothes.

Sounds like me. I tend to wear the same shirts over and over, even if they are a little dirty. I get attached to the shirts I wear and don't like wearing anything else. Also, the only thing you ever see me wearing are my denim capris. I love the to death because they are soft, stretchy and very comfy too. I also wear my hooded-sweatshirt alot. I'll try to get pics of this but can't gaurantee anything.

Me, personally.... I love clothing but hardly ever pay attention to mainstream fashion.

What I can't stand is drab and boring. I love boho fashion, which is colorful and whimsical. I'm also into a subculture called "Lolita", an alternative fashion that began in the streets of Tokyo, Japan.

One thing I don't wear is high heels. They hurt like hell and it seems all NT women are so enamored with them they can ignore the pain for hours. I can't even stand in them for minutes, anymore.

I also don't wear reveling clothing like mini skirts or really low cut tops, not out of religiosity (I don't even have a religion) but because they make me feel uncomfortably exposed.

I don't think girls wear high-heels for comfort. :P

High-heels are hot though and girls want to look hot, so there you have it.

Yes I know and I do not see how they can do it.....I mean I can't even walk in them, but yeah my sister told me a lot of times people go with style over comfort. so yeah to each their own I suppose.

Oh wow, I thought you were a guy this whole time based on the avatar. Whoops!

well its not big deal....some people find it weird but not only are guys clothes comfortable but sometimes I do not feel like expressing my feminine side and prefer to come off more masculine i guess you could say. or maybe more gender neutral...so anyways no offense taken.

HA HA! I thought too you were a guy this whole time. You and I are alike. I dress in all guys clothing still (at 47 years of age). Do not wear girls clothing like dresses ever. Only dress up for rare occasion. I actually bought heels a few years ago but have never worn them. I make these weak attempts at fashion if a friend helps me to buy things but the clothing either never gets worn or I wear it once and am miserable so doesn't get worn again. Might just as well save my money.

I wear jeans and hoodies more of the time. My friends say I dress (and act) like a 14-year-old boy.

These days I wear loose fitting jeans with no underwear (too restrictive), short sleeve golf style T-shirts (I hate the tight necklines of ordinary T-shirts) with no arm cuffs (I hete them... too restrictive) and ordinary white cotton socks with a bit of lycra (difficult to find... no ankle socks for me). In winter I wear the same (short sleeves year round) with a classic MA-1 Air Force flight jacket for cold weather protection and sometimes wear a nicely fitting black zip up sweatshirt on mild days outdoors or on cold days indoors.

Back in my 20s I wore more or less the same thing with button up shirts that never did fit as well as T-shirts and tight fitting jeans (that was the 1960/70s after all when nobody wore baggy clothing). During my college years when I rode motorcycles, in cold weather I wore a black leather Harley-Davidson jacket until I learned that a parka gave better cold weather protection.

I once knew a colorful, very NT old man 25 years ago (well I guess I am an old man now... he was an old prospector type of guy) whose clothing choice was more Aspie-like than many Aspies. He told me that he got tired of having to decide what clothes to wear when he woke up each morning. So when he needed new clothing he would go to Sears and buy up a wardrobe of khaki work shirts (with two pockets), khaki work pants, and white socks. Then when he woke up, all he had to do was to reach into his dresser, get a pair of pants, a shirt and two socks without having to worry about color or whether it all matched and he would be set for the day. When he went on vacation, he would get dressed up for the flight and put on a fresh pair of blue jeans, a flannel shirt and cowboy boots. Here is his photo several years before his 2003 death in his kitchen along with two of his Macaws, which were his passion in life and his best friends. He was perhaps the best friend I ever had.

I usually wear jeans and a t shirt lot knit pants and a shirt. I have tons of clothes I don't even wear. I also wear sweat shirts or sweaters. I also wear shorts and a t shirt. I also wear turtle necks. I just don't follow fashion. I wear what I like. But of course I wouldn't wear stretch pants or wear costumes out in public unless it's Halloween or even wear huge baby clothing unless I wear them under my clothes.

I also thought sweetleaf was a guy too and then I realized he was a she. I also don't wear high heels and I can easily fall in them.

I like to look like I fit in, so I watch what others (typically those younger than I am), are wearing, and I copy. That would be Levi's and skater-type T-shirts, Vans shoes, etc. Believe me if I were to just go pick stuff out, I'd look like a clown. As far as what FEELS good to wear, I like lightweight form-fitting shirts and underwear, because I hate anything bunching up or wrinkling. But I don't generally wear anything like that except where suitable, as it would look weird to go to the store wearing an Under Armour spandex shirt & workout pants.

I wear vintage unisex Mod clothing, or the closest stuff to it that I can find.

Tight fitting Long sleeve shirt with a semi-loose fitting T-shirt over top.

I don't like the feel of Jeans, so I wear mostly Suit Pants, or Painter's Pants.

I only wear Solid Colours or Striped Designs, not too.. Stripy?(I guess) Though, they need to be pretty big stripes or I don't like it.

I don't like wearing anything but V-Neck T-Shirts as well, the other umm.. "Necked" shirts make me feel like I am choking, and I cannot swallow properly.

I don't have many sensory issues when it comes to clothing. I typically wear khaki pants (prefer them over jeans) or shorts. When I'm off work a simple T-shirt is usually sufficient (in this Florida weather, you generally don't want much more than that, and here in Gainesville, a Florida Gators shirt is perfect), otherwise I will wear a collared shirt. I have no problem dressing up, and sometimes like to look nice (and supposedly it helps to attract girls, but don't know). I prefer shoes over sandals/flip-flips and rarely wear a hat.

I try to avoid clothing with the brand name prominently displayed or making significant changes from the usual (because then people will keep asking about it)

I must have absolute comfort.
I wear skirts almost exclusively. My shirts cannot have sleeves on the forearms unless they are VERY wide and loose. I also don't like T-shirts, because the necklines are too high.

Yes.. Beauty is pain. ;)

At most times i go with comfort but it depends on the situation really.
If you look good you feel good about yourself. So style is a type of comfort too when social. You don't have to exaggerate your style like teenagers do but looking good actually make you more confident. I learned that when i stopped shaving my head bald and went to a hairstyler which made my hair pretty darn hot.

I tend to stick with graphic-Ts, and comfortable dark blue jeans. Rarely the skinny category. I also wear heels because they have thicker soles, and provide better comfort. Stuff like that. I also love wearing a jacket while in public
