Irregardless, I have no other advice. If something needs to get done, then you just have to do it. Hurry up, do it quickly, and get it over with.
If this is how it works for you all the time, then I can see why you don't think AS is a disability.
Trying harder can actually make it harder to actually do it. "Just do it" doesn't work for many of us. The other strategies don't revolve around "just doing it." Many involve interrupting inertia, or making it a part of one's routines, or finding some other means to externalize the motivation to get something done.

I just schedule everything I need to do and have my computer alert me. This helps with several things, but not everything.
