Does anyone else see colours when their eyes are closed?

Wow...I never knew that not everyone sees this...

When I was a kid I could see a field of objects at night and make them "explode" (or disappear with a bright flash) by squinting my eyes

It's normal to see colors when you close your eyes, as your retina is still responding to random things. The clouds and other things you see are known as "phosphenes."
