A non-aspie, but:
It's varied, as anybody else, I guess.
-A fondness of me with familiar folks around.
The effect that is mirrored is a seriousness. Most of the time I'm serious. This is countenanced back. Nothing noteworthy here.
Fidgety. I scratch my scalp, and my wife calls this "nervous habits." I'm just edgy here, I feel the need to move. This mirrors back into my wife & one daughter for some reason-- they scratch and say my bugs are biting them .
I know I spook some women, though. A distance that I can read, a discomfort in body language. I think they're just chicken.
The negative I've heard with enough frequency is: "You're hard to read."
When younger in my 20's, someone told me I make people nervous by standing aloof.
All in all, I don't seem to have severe trouble with this, as in the other posters here.
