I constantly pick at the skin around my fingers and pick at anything on my skin that is not 'smooth". I hate it and wish I could stop, but the pain feels oddly good.

Stimming is short for self stimulation basically in psychology it is a 'safety blanket' in lamence terms used by people with autism and some normal people too who are under some form of emotional distress

For me stimming is perhaps my most embarassing feature/trait I have two forms of stimming.

The first is a display of uncontrollable blinking whenever I have sensory overload from looking at things for to long especially bright things such as lights, I also display this whenever my thoughts become to out of control and I need to turn them off or dim them down in order to function.

My second stimm is even more so embarassing one which I have a bit more control when compared to my blinking one. As a child and even now I would make strange and weird faces in private.
