Is it worth trying out Prozac for a month?

I don't think 30 days is nearly enough time to find out if Prozac works for you. I was told that you really need to be on it for 3 or 4 months at various dosages, to know for sure. Obviously whatever your doctor says is more important than what I or others here say, but that's my opinion as a Prozac prescribee (low dose for OCD; not for depression, so that might be different).

I kind of wonder if they expect you to take it for that long even if you start getting undesirable side-effects.....something tells me its better to quit something if it causes bad things.
