Why are NTs so easily offended?

I don't get offended by harsh humour at all, but I've clashed with many other Aspies on this very forum who do, so I don't think this is something linked to Asperger's. If it is, then it's probably linked to our lack of empathy, but I should also point out that many NTs like "offensive" humour too.

i'm easily offended by anything that physically harms me or threatens me. i'm rarely offended by humor. heck my sense of humor is pretty off.

I completely misunderstood the original post. I thought this person was offended by Chinese people but it was an analogy.,
