Did you not like getting on stage as a child?

I have a very big issue with stage fright, I can't do it! I don't want to be the center of attention, ever. When I was in HS, we were supposed to do an oral report and the teacher allowed me and one other girl to stay after school and give the report to her. I had to wait even until the other girl left and it was only me and the teacher.

Starring in a play, and acting on stage I can do plenty fine. But if I have to give a speech about something that I'm totally uninterested in, like I said, forget it. I even took Play Production and Drama in high school.
