And mentally delayed people do not like the term "Retarted" they find it very vulgar. Some are ok with "Mentally Retarted" but they all hate "Retarted".

I feel the same way.

religion comes into their conversations as a way of saying they're staying in the marriage against their will, because of their religious convictions. People (on that forum) are very sympathetic to them for these reasons because most of them just complain and talk about how their marriages aren't going to get any better and their kids are ruined.

Another also claimed that since her husband didn't cherish her the marraige vows were broken and so she could do what she wanted. The religion point is not really the issue - these people are interpreting things the way they want to.

Hehe same here.. especially one where the woman was complaining about her husbands lack of capacity for emotional expression which she apparently thought meant a complete lack of emotions.

She even went on to say when she kicked him out of the house he went quietly without an argument and she cant seem to realize that was a sign of remorse for the trouble hes caused her. Instead shes convinced it means he didnt care about her.

I suppose she would have been happier if he had put on an act and attempted to manipulate her into changing her mind.
