sometimes but I try to get shoes like a pair of DC shoes that were snug and have some pressure on my feet or depending on the shoe I have to wait until the shoe bad to breaking were I contact it.

I like the mid to high top styles because they support my ankles better and feel better around my ankles. I like the DC and also Vans and Fallen and Etnies feel good on my feet.

I don't like the way new shoes feel, they feel like they aren't made for me which causes me to wear the same pair of shoes for years up to the point i can't wear them anymore because they cause blisters. I actually need to buy a new pair of shoes but i just don't feel like it :P i like being barefoot.

if you cant see the picture then click this link http://fav.me/d4nf63t it will take you to a picture of my new shoes if the link dosnt work then let me know.

well thats a picture of my new shoes/trainers , i got them today, i only wear shoes if they feel comftable enough and i never able to put up with them for to long.

for me finding the right shoe in with all the other ones in a sports shop (where i got mine from) nearly triggers a meltdown everytime, which is why i try to be quick. and i realy dont understand the whole "concept" of "trying on" shoes i just dont understand it. its imposible to explain. i most of the time have to be forced to try a pair on my feet. which nearly meltdown starts. because i dont relay understand.
i was ment to be getting shoes for my younger brother to for school but he couldnt find any he wanted and then he got £10 spending money off me (£5 for phone top up) and now i cant afford to get him them.. but my mum says she will sort it out (i was helping my mum by using my money, well trying to.)

just wondering if you able to handle new shoes? or do they set of meltdown?

(just so you know, im not AS and i am a girl. )

Yes, new shoes bother me . I have big feet that are extremely wide along with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morton%27s_toe . So, i am more comfortable with a pair of nicely worn shoes.

All shoes bother me. New ones bother me more than older ones, but all shoes hurt me and I really hate wearing shoes. It feels like such a relief to take off my shoes when I get home after them torturing me all day.

I hate going shoe shopping. It's really hard for me to find shoes that are a good fit and feel relatively ok to wear and walk in.

I constantly get blisters and sores on my feet from shoes. I'm already feeling nervous about spring and summer because of this, because I'll have to walk a lot and it will be difficult to find suitable shoes for the weather conditions I'll be in and I just know that my feet are going to really kill me, all because of shoes.

I HATE it when people (ie, Staff) hang out behind you when you are trying on shoes. Well, people standing behind me make me nervous in general.

I hate it too when shop assistants hang out right next to me in shops, no matter what kind of a shop it is. If I'm looking for clothes or shoes, I just need to look for them in peace, without someone constantly bugging me with questions or "advice" that really doesn't apply in my situation. I'm not looking for the most fashionable or popular things. I'm trying to look for clothes/shoes that won't hurt me too much, won't get worn out too quickly and look plain enough for my taste.

When a shop assistant offers assistance when I enter a shop I always decline and say that I just want to look around on my own. If they still start following me around or trying to "help", I walk away and find a different shop where I can look around in peace.

I certainly hate shopping for new shoes, and I have buy new ones soon. Buying shoes in winter is extra difficult, as I want skate shoes, off season there are few models and you get questioned by store staff. I like skate shoes, and similar, because they're comfy and easy to put on and off without having to deal with tying laces, I have problems with tying.

I am the same way with skate shoes as I have balance issues and skate shoes help plus they are comfortable and yes you dont have to tie the all the time-its awesome!-if you have a consistent shoe size try a place like CCS they have lots of skate shoes to choose from-I buy from there and they havent disappointed me yet.

I'm not sure I dare buying shoes online. I know my social anxiety well enough to know I wouldn't be able to return them if they were the wrong fit.

Understood that is why I shop online mostly to stay away from the malls-I understand the concern-I haven't had a problem ordering online as of yet-but I do understand. Most places will send along a return label if the fit isn't right-Etnies did that for a pair of shoes I ordered through them-not needed as they fit fine. I would check for that policy at places and look at the selections available.

woo, my first post...

I have got 3 pairs of shoes

1. my neat looking, toe cramping, long not worn old school shoes.

2. my big steel toe capped shoes (only worn if there is chance of broken or molten feet).

3. my simple, brown shoes that I fear soon need replacing.

3 pairs that's all ill ever need.

I bought these for running originally, but now they're the main shoes I wear. Really light, flexible, and comfortable, especially if you wear them without socks (which doesn't make your feet stink like most shoes, since they breathe really well). I have three other pairs of shoes; one set of dress boots for when I need something a little nicer looking than sneakers, my work boots, and a pair of Oxfords for when I need to dress up. I really hate wearing my other sets of shoes because they're stiff and I can't move my toes around, which is miserable. Honestly, I prefer to go barefoot when I can, or at the very least wear flipflops.

I love running shoes, even though I'm not supposed to run anymore (back issues with Oseoarthritis involved) they are just SO comfortable. However, I'm advised not actually good for general wear or simple walking. Plus, usually expensive.
My new shoes are just starting to break in to suit me ( I got them a bit before Christmas). I stilkl wear the ones I had before for working in the yard, walking in the rain, etc. Though the bottoms are starting to seperate now. LOL

Me too, I hate not being able to move my toes around. It sends me into an absolute panic. I need to be able to wiggle my toes and pop them periodically.

My default shoes are flip flops. I can't stand to go barefoot though. If I get one grain of sand stuck to my foot it drives me crazy. And walking on anything that is not a flat, smooth surface is really painful.
