John Nash?

No, Nash was a pure schizophrenic. His Aspie symptoms are from the schizophrenia. But, in A Beautiful Mind, Nash is very Aspie at the beginning, before he become psychotic. That's why I connect with the movie so much... :D

One of my favorite lines in the movie, "Four Minutes," the biography of Roger Bannister, is when his future wife Moyra tells him, "You're an odd mix, Roger. Terribly, absolutely English, with that maddening quality of American independence. I suppose most people don't know what in the world to do with you."

Roger: Do you?

Moyra: Time will tell.

Roger Bannister was a man who did not easily conform to a mold. He did things his own way. Time told the story-it worked. Time also told another story-Moyra Jacobssen married Roger Bannister. They have been married over 50 years.

Cloud also shows some signs except when he gets all "emo" at Aeris' death.

eh?! Of course he could. (As a writer myself I find the idea that aspies cannot create emotionally complex works to be genuinely offensive.)

He's listed in Wikipedia under "famous people diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome".

Also, I heard on the History Channel at one point that the Pharaoh Akhenaten had signs of autism. (But this was only mentioned in passing and I have yet to locate any articles supporting this claim.)
