Dart,

America wasn't that way BEFORE! It really WAS like leave it to beaver! And NOW, it is like "married with children"! They weren't so loud, and had the idea of personal distance and privacy. pop culture didn't really exist, and politics at least didn't seem to be SO blatently against the country.

It seems like most countries aren't willing to accept Americans as equals without some kind of special consideration, etc....

Anyway, if the US doesn't get its act together, can any other place be safe? This didn't START in the US and is invading everywhere. It is a PLAGUE! So simply moving isn't a good answer.

Steve
Yet ANOTHER american(Though I DO know English, German, Danish, and am studying Spanish and Hindi)

BTW I want a country like the US once was! Sadly, I don't know of ANY!

The bad thing is that "we" Europeans and everyone else just adapt the bad parts of American "culture".

Once America actually was pretty much like "The Little House on The Prairie".

The only country that can be what America once was is America itself. Sadly I think it's absolutely impossible without some kind of disaster or civil war or global war. And the probability that America and the rest of the earth would end up even worse is of course then much, much greater.

Lower class Englishmen, I think. In Sweden workers used to be called "sjåare". I think that's ethymologically the same word.

The best way to deal with the chavs is to really freak them out. There were a lot at my school and whenever they tried to make a comment about me, i'd jokingly, talk about past lives, dead people and how books scream when you fold the pages over. Once they're really weirded out they don't bother you and actively avoid you. Such fun.

I think the uk's pretty good for Aspies, Scotland, where i live, they're used to and accepting of very individual and different people.

Holland is also highly conducive to aspies, in my opinion. It had a policy of tolerance for most of its history. Jews, while persecuted everywhere else, settled in Holland, and lived there in peace during many periods in history. The policy of tolerance continues to this day, which makes for a pleasant place to live. That, as well as legal prostitution to allow lonely aspie men to take the edge off, and legal weed for all aspies to stop the racing thoughts.

Not quite. That definition would insult quite a lot of people.

Chavs are young adult men who drive crap tuned-up cars (usually Novas and the like), get pissed up on cheap booze, give people hassle, get into fights and basically make a nuisance of themselves. They're pond-life, basically.
