I think its more a movie a male would enjoy. But maybe some of the odd people looking for a home/club to belong to in the film may interest aspie females to.

people of the forum! i watched fight club yesterday! the movie was pretty interesting and then there's the end...

SPOILER!

he gets up after shooting himself in the mouth and is fine? :? so, i'm to assume that chaos breaks out soon after all those buildings crumble to the ground...why couldn't they show me this? why was he so calm when the fight club members walk in at the very end?

Well he is "One tough mother...". I guess so much fights made him stronger.

I love the ending scene so much I never even thought about that before. I guess chaos breaks out but since he's cured himself I think he will disolve the fight clubs after that.

Yeah blowing up a few big building storing credit records would not reset the debt.
One all those credit bureaus have two back up copies for their entire database it maybe a few weeks behide but its there. Plus there are smaller offices with all the regional data in a very large number of cities. Assuming all the central bureaus and their two other back up copies were destroyed (upto 12 different cities) then the regional bureaus (hundrends of cities I think) could rebuild the database. And if all those were destroyed the private creditors that sumbit data to them could resend the data. Forexample you can be sure all money loaned by banks/credit card companies will be on the banks datbases and electronic and paper trails for those debts.

I loved Garden State, but where are all the Life Aquatic fans?
Bill Murray, Angelica Houston, Jeff Goldblum, plus about five other big hollywood names, in a run down boat cruising around the ocean running into unexpected adventures in their matching pyjamas?
Misfits, pirates, a three legged dog, calming casio soundtrack?
There's even a few glimpses of a half-naked lady for the guys in there, too.
I bought the DVD ages ago (on sale, $8) and I watch it often. Mmm, open sea, crazy oceanographers, excellent set design, kooky characters in matching red beanies. In fact, I'm going to watch it again right now!
